How the Subscription Works
Pick your coffee, pick your grind, pick how often you want it. We roast in small batches in San Diego and ship fast, so what arrives is fresh rather than whatever has been sitting in a warehouse.
The discount is 20% on every order, not a first-order promotion that quietly expires. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.
Choose Your Delivery Frequency
Four options, and you can change them at any time.
| Frequency | Who it suits |
|---|---|
| Every week | Households, offices, or anyone brewing several cups a day |
| Every 2 weeks | Two people, or one person who brews a lot |
| Every 3 weeks | A daily drinker working through a 12oz bag |
| Every 4 weeks | A cup a day, or a second bag alongside another coffee |
Not sure? Start at every three weeks and adjust once you see how fast a bag goes.
Why Freshness Matters More Than It Sounds
Coffee does not spoil, but it does go flat. Most of what makes a good coffee interesting sits in volatile aromatic compounds that start leaving the moment the bean comes off the roaster. Supermarket bags are often months past roast by the time they reach a shelf.
A subscription solves that by timing. Coffee arrives on a schedule that matches how fast you drink it, rather than sitting around waiting to be used. Every bag has the roast date printed on it, so you never have to guess.
What You Can Subscribe To
Everything in our core lineup is subscription eligible, across decaf, less caf, and full caf, in whole bean or ground.
Special releases, our black bag lots, are the exception. Those are small batch and often one time only, so they cannot be set as a recurring item. You can still add one to a subscription order as a one off whenever something catches your eye.
Common Questions
How much do I save with a subscription?
20% off every order. Not a first-order discount, not a promotional rate that changes after a few months. It applies for as long as the subscription runs.
Can I pause, skip, or cancel?
Yes, any of the three, at any time, from your account. No minimum term and no cancellation fee. If you are travelling or still working through the last bag, skip a delivery and pick it up next cycle.
How often can I get a delivery?
Every week, every two weeks, every three weeks, or every four weeks. You can change the frequency at any point without cancelling and starting over.
Do I have to get the same coffee every time?
No. Stay with one bag if you have found what you like, or swap between deliveries to work through the range. Plenty of people rotate a decaf and a full caf.
Can I subscribe to a special release?
Not as a recurring item. Special releases are small batch lots that often sell through once, so they cannot be set on a schedule. You can add one to a subscription order as a one time purchase whenever you like.
Whole bean or ground?
Either. Whole bean keeps better and tastes cleaner if you have a grinder. If you would rather skip that step, tell us your brew method and we will grind accordingly.
Where is the coffee roasted?
San Diego, California, in small batches, with the roast date printed on every bag.
