Glad I found this brand. Great decaf coffee :)

It’s smooth, balanced, and doesn’t have that weird aftertaste a lot of decafs do.

Better Coffee, No Snobbery
We’re serious about flavor, not about fancy jargon. Great coffee that’s easy to enjoy. Simple as that.
I am a long time decaf drinker -- espresso, pourover, aeropress, moka, etc. I was tired of every roaster only having one decaf that often was too roasted and just not given much care. So I started doing research, and I am delighted that I found Frequent with a robust set of offerings. So far I have had the Sidekick and the Jitterfree Delight, and both perform well for my Baratza Forte / La Marzocco GS3 as well for Vario pourover. I really appreciate the delicate flavors/aromas that most decafs just don't have. Frequent also provides great instructions about brewing the decafs at lower temperatures. For the Sidekick, a finer grind is also a key that Frequent discusses in their great blog on sugarcane process of decaffeination. I am definitely going to be a regular.
I think I encountered Frequent on Facebook and decided to give it a try. Oddly enough, we were visiting OB at the time so it must have been synchronicity. Or something like that. I'm an avid decaf drinker (by necessity), so I'm always on the lookout for good expressions. So I order a bag of Sidekick. I have no idea what is the "sugarcane" process, but I do know good coffee when I taste it, and Sidekick is good - no, great - decaf. All the flavor notes stated on the bag were there in spades. So enjoyable. Now I'll have to try their other expressions :) By the way, I appreciated the medium roast - I seem to encounter more dark roasts these days and they have tasted more burnt and bitter.
As someone who's become more fit and no longer relies on caffeine to kickstart the day, I still cherish the comfort of a warm cup of coffee each morning. I tried Frequent Sidekick decaffeinated coffee—an unexpectedly delightful discovery.
From the first sip, I was impressed. It’s velvety smooth, with rich notes of chocolate and cherry, rounded out by a subtle hint of cream. The flavor is peaceful and satisfying, offering all the pleasure of a great cup without the buzz.
For anyone seeking a decaf that doesn’t compromise on taste, Frequent Sidekick is a perfect companion.
This decaf coffee is the best I've ever tasted. The first sip comes with light and refreshing taste, but when I keep drinking, the rich, deep flavor follows. I also discovered that it tastes great when it is cold. So, I bet it makes a great iced coffee, too. You must try it yourself to find out this wonderful gift.
I drink a cup of decaffeinated coffee a couple of times in the afternoon every day. I really enjoy 'Sidekick.' The flavor is rich and wonderfully smooth. I highly recommend others try it.
